Personal Approach

Science-Based, Still Human

I’m Dr. Beatriz Mann, a licensed psychologist offering virtual therapy for adolescents, college students, and adults in 40 U.S. states. Clients often tell me that therapy with me feels different. I don’t just listen. I give you tools. I’ll meet you where you are, and I’ll also help you move forward.

Personalized & Practical

I believe therapy should be practical and collaborative. To quote Dr Lynch, creator of RO DBT, therapy should have a balance of “compassionate gravity and playful teasing”.I strive to provide a therapeutic space that feels safe and non-judgmental, while infusing some lightness and hope.

More Than Listening

Yes, we’ll talk about hard things—the fears, the patterns, the stuck places. But therapy isn’t just heavy. We’ll also laugh, get curious, and make space for lightness. I believe growth happens when we feel safe, seen, and real. You don’t have to have it all figured out—we’ll explore it together, one honest step at a time.

Who I Work With

I work best with people who are curious, motivated, and maybe just a little tired of trying to figure it all out alone.

Professionals

doing all the things, on paper, and it all “looks great” - but inside, they’re anxious, disconnected, or just not enjoying any of it.

Perfectionists

experiencing anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or perfectionism that make it hard to rest, connect, or breathe.

Survivors

who’ve lived through trauma, whether it happened recently or has been carried quietly for years.

Working With Me:
What to Expect

Personally: I lead with kindness, warmth, and a touch of humor, because healing happens best when you feel truly seen and at ease.

Professionally: I provide absolute confidentiality and unwavering support, creating a secure space to explore your most complex challenges.

Practically: To make therapy as accessible as possible, all sessions are held virtually over secure, HIPAA-compliant Zoom. No confusing tech - just a simple link in your email, and you’re ready to go.

Everything in One Place

The portal is also where we’ll track your progress over time. You’ll always have access to your messaging portal, superbills, and charts that measure your progress via screeners (real data in real time!), so you can see how far you’ve come whenever you need a reminder.

First Session

A 90-minute intake where we’ll talk about what is bringing you in to therapy and build your treatment plan together.

My Philosophy

Therapy should help you live better, not just feel better.

It should give you space to be real and safe, but also provide direction, insight, and meaningful change. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. And I don’t believe in trendy, untested methods. My work is grounded in science, using tools and approaches that are backed by research and designed to work in the real world.

I believe in curiosity, humor, and collaboration. I believe in integrating neuropsychology in a meaningful way to help you get a deeper understanding of what is going on. I believe that people don’t need fixing; they need connection, strategies, and sometimes a gentle push toward their goals. If you're ready to start feeling more like yourself—or discover who that is, I'm here for you.
