What Therapy Looks Like Here

Real therapy for real life, grounded in science and shaped around you. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or simply not like yourself, therapy can help. I work with adults, college students and adolescents who are ready to understand what’s going on and make meaningful changes. My approach is personalized, practical, and rooted in evidence-based treatment.

What I Help With

logo

Anxiety

If you’re constantly overthinking, worrying, or stuck in cycles of panic or avoidance, you’re not alone. I use treatments like CBT and Exposure Response Prevention to help you slow your thoughts, calm your body, and feel more in control.

Depression

You find yourself feeling heavy, flat, or disconnected. You’ve lost motivation, joy, or the sense that life fits. I help clients understand where these feelings come from, and we work together on strategies to help you feel more engaged and steady again. Regardless of whether or not you meet criteria for clinical depression, there are lots of therapies that can help!

College Life and Young Adulthood

Transitions can be hard. Maybe you’re living on your own for the first time, juggling academics, navigating friendships, or just feeling disconnected. Together, we’ll build habits, strategies, and structure that make this stage feel more manageable and fulfilling.

Perfectionism and Overcontrol

You keep it together, you show up, you push through, but it never feels like enough. If you find it hard to relax, be flexible, or connect deeply with others, I use a treatment called Radically Open DBT to help loosen that grip without losing what makes you strong.

Trauma

Difficult experiences shape how you think, feel, and connect with others. Trauma isn’t defined by the event, but by its impact. As the WHO puts it: “trauma is” act plus impact. There’s no required list of what “counts” as trauma—if something hard has happened and it’s affecting your daily life, it matters. I’m a Certified Specialist in Trauma-Focused CBT, using evidence-based, trauma-informed care to help you process, heal, and regain control. Together, we shift the narrative and build effective strategies so you can move forward with clarity and strength.

Eating Disorders

Eating disorders are one of the deadliest mental health issues out there, but they often go unnoticed or underreported, all while you feel more and more alone. Eating disorders can also be incredibly isolating - they often go unnoticed and underreported, all while you feel more and more alone (and isolated). With the help of therapy like FBT, RODBT, and DBT we can work together to get you on the path towards recovery. You may be experiencing an intense fear of weight gain, restricting food, punishing yourself through exercise, or find yourself unable to stop eating when you wish you could. No two eating disorders are alike.

Relationship with Food and Body

Even if you don’t have an eating disorder, research shows us that 80% of us will engage in disordered eating at some point in our lives.  While that number may seem high, to me it comes as no surprise given the constant bombardment of social media and the “wellness industry” messages we receive daily.  I help you to heal your relationship with food and with your body, using techniques from intuitive eating, and pulling from philosophies like AllFoodsFit and Health At Every Size (HAES).

Burnout and Disconnection

You’re doing everything right, but it still feels off. Maybe you’re exhausted, emotionally flat, or unsure of what matters anymore. Together, we’ll make space to reset, reconnect with your values, and create a life that feels like it belongs to you.

Cancer Patients and Their Caregivers

Going through cancer or watching a loved one go through it can be a complete upheaval in one’s life. Even if you are in remission, it can sometimes feel like you have lived a totally different life which sometimes leaves people feeling alone.  Some folks struggle to engage in life after diagnosis and remission, always worried about the “if” or “when.”  I have experience working in the world of oncology, so you would be able to get understanding support without having to “translate” you experience. Let’s touch base.
