Do you take insurance?
What’s your cancellation policy?
I ask that you give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee. If you need to cancel within 24 hours and you are experiencing an emergency or are ill, there is no cancellation fee. I do offer one free late cancellation, because life happens to all of us!
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so we can get a chance to talk, go over what you're looking for, and see if it feels like a good fit. It’s low-key and zero pressure, and is a great chance to get a “vibe check” with your potential new therapist before committing to a full intake.
How long is a typical session? What is the cost?
Your first session is a 90-minute intake, which gives us time to go over your history, concerns, and goals in detail. The rate for an intake is $300. After that, sessions are typically 50 minutes. My rate for individual or family sessions is $250.
Where do sessions take place?
All sessions are 100% virtual and take place over secure Zoom through my client platform, Practice Q. No need to drive, print paperwork, or figure out new tech!
Do I need to fill out forms?
Paper forms? Nope. I use a great electronic record-keeping system called PracticeQ, which allows us to keep everything virtual. All paperwork, screeners, and tools are built right into Practice Q. Everything is online, simple to use, and HIPAA-compliant.
How often will we meet?
Most clients meet with me once a week at the start of therapy. I find this helps us to establish rapport, build trust, and make strong headway in our therapeutic work. If, however, you are only able to meet every other week, or your goals, availability, and preferences might not fit with weekly therapy, we can certainly talk about what makes sense for you and adjust as needed.
Can you practice in my state?

What if I’m not sure therapy is right for me?
That’s completely okay. The first step is simply talking. You don’t need a diagnosis or a crisis to benefit from therapy. If you’ve been feeling stuck, disconnected, anxious, or just want to feel more like yourself again, this might be the right space for you.
